Nowadays, due to the economy downturn, many people lose their job and not able to find a new job. Therefore, more and more people are considering to work at home.
Of course there is a lot of advantage to work at home, such as :-
- no fix working hours
- more time to stay with family
- financial freedom
- low cost
- you are your own boss
However, there are also disadvantage or risk for working at home:
- no fix income
- no product to sell or no customer

When we are talking about work at home, we are mostly talking about working online. In fact, there are a lot of work opportunity on the Internet. Here are some examples:-
- affiliate programs - there are a lot of companies selling their products and service online and they are offering high affiliate commission for people who act as reseller for their porducts. You don't even need to deal directly with these customer.

- own product(s) - you can create your own product and to promote and sell it online. Of course everything has to be handled by yoursel.

- drop-ship products - there are some companies allow you to buy their product at wholesale price and let you to keep the profit of retail. You don't need to keep inventory and no need to handle the shipping. They will ship the goods for you.
- Google Adsense - if you have a blog or site where the content attract a lot of visitors coming to your site. You can generate income from the Google's advertising that whenever a visitor click on the ads from your site, you will get paid.
- advertising - if your blog or site have sufficient visitors, you may also to sell advertising directly from your site
